Bill Aydin Recalls Working with Dolores Catania: "She's Got Good Hands"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey duo previously worked alongside one another in the plastic surgery industry.
It’s no secret that the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is full of tight-knit friendships that go way back, but it’s a lesser-known fact that Dolores Catania actually knew Dr. Bill Aydin before she ever met Jennifer.
In February, Dolores revealed that she used to work with Bill, who is a plastic surgeon, back when she was a surgical assistant. “I know doctors,” Dolores explained on an episode of Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, adding, “I dated a couple and I’m a surgical assistant by trade. Also, I worked with Dr. Aydin.” She went on to explain what her job entailed: “I would assist him in surgery. Like, I’d hand him his instruments.”
During the After Show of a special May 5 RHONJ House-husbands episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above), Bill shared even more insight into their working relationship.
“Do you remember working with [Dolores] and what was she like?” Bill was asked and then replied, “Yes, she’s got good hands.”
Bill also shared how he felt about the fact that Dolores and Margaret Josephs go to “other plastic surgeons,” explaining that it doesn’t bother him “at all.”
“I think it’s better that way,” said Bill. “It helps keep the friendships better. Sometimes medical opinions are not taken well when it comes from a friend, so, it’s best to keep it separate.”
