People often ask me about my favorite NYC spots. There’s no shortage of great restaurants, clubs, bakeries, or bars in the city… but it’s also true that some are better than others. Whether you’re going all-out or doing NYC on a budget, you can’t go wrong with these picks.

1. Catch

Always fun and hip with awesome music from current hip hop to old-school disco. Spicy tuna on crispy rice and their version of a caesar are a must!

2. Tao Downtown

This is club and disco dining at its best. There are always men here, whether Monday or Saturday PM, and every item on the menu is incredible. Their peking duck rivals Chinatown.

3. Georgetown Cupcakes

This is a delicious cupcake spot, and the two female owners are equally delicious. The flavors are unique, the cupcakes are not over-iced, and there is an injection of icing flavor inside many of these delectable confections.

4. Yogaworks

Amazing classes, great teachers, low key vibe, all levels, and one hour class options--which I love because sometimes I get restless or have to get to work or school pickup.
