Bethenny Frankel Says Dennis Shields Attended the RHONY Season 10 Reunion: "He Was My Greatest Supporter"
The RHONY mogul reflected on her relationship with the man she described as "#sweetassugar #toughasnails."
During the Season 10 The Real Housewives of New York City reunion, there were definitely some tense moments for Bethenny Frankel and the crew. But luckily for the Skinnygirl mogul, she had a strong support system by her side the day they filmed the reunion. Bethenny revealed on Twitter that Dennis Shields, her longtime friend and on-off boyfriend, was with her that day.
She confirmed the behind-the-scenes tidbit after a fan noted how much she admires how Bethenny has been handling the loss of Dennis, who passed away last month. "Thank you," Bethenny wrote. "It puts a lot in perspective. He was with me at the reunion & the years prior. He was a genius who could talk about the show minutiae all day. He was my greatest supporter. #sweetassugar #toughasnails."
Following Dennis' passing in August, Bethenny took to Twitter to thank fans for their support in the wake of her loss. "It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so. It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant [questions] & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw," she said in late August. "Trying to stay healthy & move through it [with] tears & close friends. Xo."
Bethenny has also been sharing the ways in which she's been trying to cope with his passing — including finding comfort in "mommy time" and spending time by the water.
