Bethenny Frankel on Life After Dennis Shields' Passing: "You Just Have to Force Yourself to Shift"
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul calls her time by the waves "life saving."
Bethenny Frankel is sharing with fans how she is trying to heal following the passing of her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields last month. The Real Housewives of New York City mogul took to Twitter to share that she's been finding comfort in water, calling it "live saving."
"Doing anything in or by the water is life saving. Beach walks. ocean swims, wakeboarding, clamming, infrared sauna, jacuzzi & my swim really help. When you feel sad, you cry then you just have to force yourself to shift," she wrote. "It’s so hard but it works."
She also responded to a fan who shares her philosophy.
It also appears that Bethenny has found that spending time with her dogs and daughter, as well as quiet time after "the sun goes down" has also been stress relieving for her.
Bethenny previously opened up about how she's been handling this sudden loss in an emotional and vulnerable tweet posted on August 26. "It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so. It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant [questions] & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw," she said. "Trying to stay healthy & move through it [with] tears & close friends. Xo."
