Luann de Lesseps Is "Wishing" Bethenny Frankel "Nothing But the Best" Following Her RHONY Exit
The RHONY cabaret singer posted a tribute to Bethenny Frankel.
Following the news that Bethenny Frankel is exiting The Real Housewives of New York City, Luann de Lesseps has paid tribute to her longtime RHONY pal.
The cabaret singer posted a message about the Skinnygirl mogul's departure on Instagram, alongside a photo of the two ladies hanging out with Jennifer Lawrence on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2018 (clip above).
"It’s been a great run with so many great memories," Luann wrote. "Wishing [Bethenny] nothing but the best."
Of course, Luann and Bethenny have been on the RHONY journey together, on and off, for the last 11 seasons and throughout it, they have documented the many ups and downs in their friendship.
(Bethenny stepped away from RHONY following Season 3 and later returned to the series in Season 7.)
Bethenny opened up about her departure in an emotional Instagram post, in which she reflected on her experience sharing her life with the world. She wrote, "I am so grateful to you for sticking with me through everything. You started this journey with me in my tiny apartment in my late 30s, wondering what would happen to me. I was broke, single, had no family and no idea what the future held.”
Later in the message, she added, “I am fortunate to have created a business and career that some people only dream of. I had a beautiful baby girl who is now 9 years old, and she has changed me as a human being. I was able to give back and help people all over the world who have been hit with the worst of unforeseen circumstances, which we will all continue together... Thank you so much for your love and support. And stay tuned, you haven’t seen the last of me. There are many amazing things to come. I love you all and am so lucky to have you in my life! PS: New York City is still my playground.”
