Bethenny Frankel Says She Is Done Helping Luann de Lesseps: "I'm Out"

Bethenny Frankel was there for Luann de Lesseps when she returned to rehab for the second time last summer. However, Bethenny said that she won't be getting as involved in Luann's personal life in the future.

When a fan asked if Bethenny had been supporting Luann during her recent legal woes, as she had done in the past, The Real Housewives of New York City mogul shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night that she had not been keeping up with the cabaret singer in that way these days (clip above). "I don't even know what's going on, really. She's shooting videos and doing her cabaret, so she seems fine," Bethenny said. "I'm out, you know what I mean?" 

Bethenny noted on WWHL that if Luann ever really needed her help again, she wouldn't hesitate to be there for her fellow New York Housewife. "But I would do it again if something really bad happened because I would do that for anybody, but I like this distance from this situation," she said.

Luann didn't seem to be happy with Bethenny's attitude as she tweeted during Thursday night's episode of WWHL. "I don’t owe Bethenny Frankel my life," Luann tweeted. "Friends are there help each other out."

Luann also tweeted that "friends don't keep tabs" and "you don’t help someone and throw it in their face."

Since appearing in court in Palm Beach in May after violating her probation, Luann has been facing the daily challenge of her sobriety head on. "I struggle with alcohol like everybody does except I have no room for error," she shared during an interview with DailyMailTV earlier this month. "That's a very difficult way to live under the spotlight. I was able to turn that around. I take my sobriety very seriously and I'm working day by day."
