Below Deck's Nico Scholly Has a Major Update About His Love Life

Nico Scholly is feeling the love this season of Below Deck. The senior deckhand has started this season with a new lady in his life, his girlfriend Melissa. 

But as we've seen on past seasons of Below Deck, it's not always easy to maintain a relationship while you're out at sea away from your significant other. That's something that Nico said he definitely experienced during Season 5 of Below Deck. "Yeah, when you're out on charter and you obviously have a relationship back home, it gets very difficult. I'm so busy sometimes that I can't even stop and make a text or call. Obviously, I don't want the other guys on their phones, so I can't sit there and be a hypocrite," Nico recently told The Daily Dish. "So it's a struggle, and it's difficult in general to have a girlfriend in yachting, let alone be on charter for as long as we are back-to-back, try and handle having a girlfriend while dealing with emotional stress while dealing with a green crew, there's just so much that goes into it."
