Meet Below Deck Mediterranean’s New Deckhand
Jason Gaskell’s replacement has arrived on Below Deck Mediterranean. Get to know Reid Jenkins ahead of the new episode.
Below Deck Mediterranean is welcoming a new deckhand aboard.
Reid Jenkins is set to join the Home crew on Monday’s upcoming episode (which is already streaming on Peacock!), but based on this sneak peek, he’s not exactly feeling the love. “When I join a new boat,” Reid explains in a confessional, “I’ve always struggled with banter, quick wit.”
He essentially tells Courtney Veale the same thing, saying, “Give me some time. I swear my jokes get better!”
But Reid’s nervousness isn’t the only reason he feels like an outsider — he is joining the charter much later than everyone else, after all. As Jason Gaskell’s replacement, he feels the crew “got really close before I got here.”
Still, Reid is determined to form a bond with his new team. “It’s intimidating,” he adds, “but I definitely appreciate and love the kind of personality that they have.”
