Kyle Viljoen Shares an Update on His Relationship with "The Love of [His] Life"
The returning Below Deck Mediterranean stew opened up about his love life today.
A lot has changed in Kyle Viljoen's personal life since he bid adieu to M/Y Home on Season 7 of Below Deck Mediterranean.
Though he shared an "intense" romantic connection with charter guest Frank on the show, the two parted ways once they met up in New York City following the season.
The stew's romance with Frank didn't work out, but his visit to the Big Apple led him to meet the current man in his life, Dr. Zachary Riley.
The couple got engaged in the fall of 2022, and Kyle just shared an update on his relationship with the doctor in honor of a very special occasion.
Kyle Viljoen's Relationship Update
The South Africa native, who will be appearing on Season 8, took to Instagram on September 19 to wish his fiancé a happy birthday.
Kyle shared a carousel of photos of the two on his feed, writing, "To the love of my life [Zachary Riley]! I wish you the most magical birthday," at the beginning of his caption.
"You are light, you are laughter, you are companion, resilience, strive, opportunist, kind, loving, positive and funny!" he continued. "Thank you for being my best friend, security and love of my life! In a chaotic world, you are my stability! Nothing will ever match you, of all my successes, you are my greatest treasure."
Zachary took to the comments' section to respond, "Thank you my love. Love you so so much."

How did Kyle Viljoen meet his fiancé?
After he left Malta following the Below Deck Med charter season, Kyle visited New York City to spend time with his charter guest crush, Frank. Despite having a "powerful" connection with Frank, the two decided to just be friends
"I told people, 'Frank got me Zachary,' but they never knew each other," Kyle explained during a podcast appearance before revealing how Frank led him to his current partner. "I was in [Frank’s] apartment after we decided we were going to be friends, and I went on the dating app Grindr — my first time ever, OK! That’s how our relationship started."
Kyle got down on one knee to propose to the medical professional in South Africa in November 2022. Less than a year later, the two are still going strong.
