OK, So, Austen Kroll Has Something to Say About the Kristin Cavallari Romance Rumors
The Southern Charm cast member addresses the gossip on how he *really* knows Kristin to Andy Cohen on WWHL.
Austen Kroll is here to clarify the gossip about him and Kristin Cavallari. The Southern Charm star reacted to all the rumors during the December 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“Honestly, she slid into Craig [Conover]’s DMs and was like, ‘I'm coming into town.’ So we all went to dinner, and we all just kind of hit it off. And we wanted to go and visit them [last weekend], and so we did. Honestly, we just all get along so, so well,” he told a fan on WWHL. “Look, Kristin is out of a 10-year-long relationship. She’s not looking for anything. I’m out of one [relationship with Madison LeCroy], who had one kid. There’s no reason to jump into something with someone who has three kids, I can promise you that.”
When Andy Cohen pointed out that "it seems like you both could be looking for fun, Austen. I mean, she was humping your neck in that video I saw [from last weekend]," Austen noted, "She is certainly living her best life... You're damn right, I am [too]."
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Austen also reacted to some alleged shade that Kristin's rumored boyfriend Jeff Dye shared on Twitter.
“Probably [it was about me]. I mean, I’m not here trying to cause problems... We just had fun with our friends," Austen said. “There is no Austen and Kristin, you know, it’s just funny. Kristin is a beautiful driven girl, clearly, you know, what I’m attracted to, but she has a lot on her plate. She’s going through her own stuff.”
As for Kristin, she offered up her own explanation of what she's been doing hanging out with Austen, telling fans on Instagram Stories earlier this week, “I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys."
Kristin and estranged husband Jay Cutler announced their split back in April; together they are parents to three kids. As for Austen, he and Madison are no longer together, and the breakup was featured on Southern Charm this season.
