Madison LeCroy Opens Up About Reliving Her Breakup from Austen Kroll: "It's a Hard Thing"

Madison LeCroy has had her fair share of ups and downs with Austen Kroll. The couple recently shared their tearful breakup on Southern Charm, which Madison explained has been a difficult experience in and of itself. She opened up about the situation on the December 12 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to, below. 

Madison described the breakup: “Horrible to relive, considering it happened so long ago. I was a little emotional watching that, and I’ll probably be emotional when I have other people chime in on it. It’s a hard thing to go through.” 

When asked if she thinks the breakup would have still happened had there been no pandemic lockdown, Madison explained, “I really don’t know. I mean, I would hope not. I think that for me, it made me realize what really mattered to me. And it was just sad to see because Austen was kind of doing his own thing, and I was kind of having a mental breakdown, emotionally, just because of my business and worried about, you know, I have someone to take care of. I have to pay my bills. I have to put food on the table, and all these things.” 

So where do Madison and Austen stand today?

“He literally just texted me a minute ago,” Madison said during the interview. “I’ve tried to avoid him, in a sense. We talk here and there. We’ve seen each other. But there’s nothing like that romantically happening right now. We just can’t get along, and it’s unfortunate, because I think that there is passion there.”
