Ariana Madix's Boyfriend Daniel Wai Just Made His Vanderpump Rules Debut: All the Details
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared new details about her long-distance relationship with the personal trainer/bartender.
A lot has changed for Ariana Madix over the last year (to put it lightly), so when we spotted her boyfriend, Daniel Wai, in the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 first look video above, we were beyond excited to get the details on her new relationship.
Luckily, we didn't have to wait long. On the January 30 Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, Ariana opened up about her romance with Daniel throughout the episode, and he even made a brief appearance via FaceTime.
Ariana gushed about Daniel during a spa day with Scheana Shay when Scheana mentioned that she wanted her daughter, Summer Moon, to meet Daniel because "he seems like really good with kids."
Ariana quickly agreed. "Oh, yeah," she said, adding with a laugh, "He has two nephews, and he, like, hangs out with them and teaches them to do things they're not supposed to do."

How did Ariana Madix and Daniel Wai meet?
"I met Dan at one of my oldest friend's weddings," Ariana explained in an episode interview, referencing a March 2023 celebration in Oaxaca, Mexico. "Literally ten, eleven days after everything freakin' blew up."
What does Daniel Wai do for a living?
Ariana explained during the episode that her beau is a "personal trainer and a bartender." As it turns out, the fitness buff has wasted no time bonding with Scheana's husband, Brock Davies. "I love that him and Brock are...workout buddies," Ariana said.
Where does Daniel Wai live?
"He lives in New York," Ariana explained. "So we're doing a little long-distance thing."
Later in the episode, Ariana and Daniel FaceTimed as she was getting ready for an event with some of her castmates. "I'm nervous...I'm going to Tom Tom tonight," she told Daniel. "I haven't been there since that night that all of that transpired. Part of me was just like,' Should I just not go?' and then I was like, 'If I don't go, then that wins.'"
Although Daniel was home in New York at the time, he told Ariana, "You always got me. I'll cheer you on from the sidelines, from New York. I'm only two thousand miles away." She sweetly corrected him, "2,427 to be exact, I think. I looked once."
In the video above, Ariana asks Daniel about the possibility of him moving to California. We'll have to stay tuned to see what he says!
