Ariana Madix’s Christmas celebration was nothing short of magical.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member returned to Instagram on Thursday (December 26) to provide several peeks at her holiday fun with Daniel Wai — the New York City-based fitness trainer she began dating in 2023.
Ariana posted a video in which she was seen decorating a small Christmas tree inside Daniel’s apartment. The holiday staple was adorned with glittery baubles, multi-colored string lights, and a few classic ornaments. Ariana completed the decorations with a traditional LED star topper.

The couple also celebrated the holiday with their good friend, Brad Kearns, who joined them at the popular NYC dinner Jack’s Wife Freda. Ariana reshared a snap of the group’s mouth-watering orders, including fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, a sandwich, fries, and espresso martinis.
Ariana returned to Instagram several hours later to share a glimpse at the holiday lights tour in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. The Single AF Cocktails author posted a video of countless people on the street enjoying rows and rows of decorated houses. One of the homes was covered with white lights, LED snowflakes, and nutcracker figurines, which reminded Ariana of an iconic film character.
“I mean, this is insane,” she said while filming the beautifully lit house. “It’s giving Martha May Whovier.”

Ariana touched on her holiday plans during a recent interview with Access Hollywood, saying she planned to spend Christmas on the East Coast and hopefully leave the country for New Year’s Day.
“So for Christmas itself, I might want to go to New York for Christmas. And then I kinda wanna get out of town,” she said. “I wanna travel for New Year’s. I’ve never done New Year’s abroad and I think it would be so cool to ring in the new year in a completely different time zone.”
Ariana began celebrating the holidays earlier this month when Daniel visited her in California. The New Yorker documented his trip on social media, sharing photos of Ariana’s Christmas tree, their trip to a hardware store, and his meal at Something About Her — the WeHo sandwich shop Ariana runs with Katie Maloney.

The former SUR bartender opened up about her relationship in a December interview with People magazine, explaining why Daniel was “worth the long-distance relationship.”
“He is so incredible. He’s so smart. He’s so supportive. He’s so cute. He’s just constantly in my corner,” she said. “And he’s someone that I look up to and I feel like would be, if someone were to have told me five years ago before I ever met him I’m dating this guy, I’d be like, ‘Wow.’ I would love him for anyone because he is so amazing and so what makes it worth it is just that time I get to spend with him.”
