Lala Offers a Surprising Update on Her Friendship with Tom Sandoval and Addresses Her Comments on Ariana
Lala Kent appeared on WWHL and spoke to The Daily Dish about the Season 11 drama surrounding Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and Scheana Shay.
Scheana Shay admitted to being conflicted about her former friend Tom Sandoval during Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 6 on March 5.
More specifically, Scheana explained that while she could potentially be open to forgiving Tom, she doesn't want her friendship with Ariana Madix to suffer as a result.
Lala Kent was empathetic to her concerns and even argued that Ariana should've defended Scheana when she came under fire after posing alongside Tom in a group photo that subsequently went viral. As she put it, "It's time for Ariana to pull her head from out of her own ass. She needs to come back to reality and remember who her friends are and what they've done for her. Scheana has been ride or die since day one for Ariana, and now it's time for Ariana to return the favor."

On the March 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lala was asked to explain her remark about Ariana needing "to pull her head from out of her own ass."
Her response? "I meant that a lot of people came to her defense, and now it's time to come to Scheana's defense."
Lala added that the "whole day" with Scheana on the Lake Tahoe trip "was so sad" and that she was "non-stop sobbing."

Lala, of course, found Scheana's feelings over her and Tom's complicated dynamic to be genuine — but does the feel the same way about Tom's emotional response? She weighed in when a WWHL viewer asked her if she believes that Tom actually "misses his friendship with Scheana as much as she misses her friendship with him."
"I actually do. I think Scheana's the one person in the group that he has a soft spot for, which is saying a lot. I do feel that he wants her back in his life."
Are Lala Kent and Tom Sandoval friends today?
Not exactly. During a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Lala was asked where she stands with Sandoval, and she cheekily replied, "He stands over there, and I stand here."
At the same time, she added, "He did wish me a congratulations when I posted that I was expecting my second baby, which was very not like him. He never acknowledges anything that takes place in my life. So I thought that that was really kind."
That's not to say that Lala sees her and Sandoval becoming besties, though. After all, she pointed out that they "weren't close before everything happened," so she "[doesn't] know that we would become close now."
"I just really want to be in a place where I can be in a room with someone and not want to light them on fire," Lala concluded. "I want to let the anger go. And I feel like we’ve done that. I feel like I’m in a very good place."
