Andy Cohen Has a Major Update on Jeff Lewis and Zoila Chavez
The WWHL host had some huge news to share about this Flipping Out friendship.
Jeff Lewis wasn't in the best place with his longtime employee and friend Zoila Chavez when she decided to retire from working for him in Season 10 of Flipping Out, which aired in 2017.
But last year, Jeff and Zoila appeared to be getting their relationship back on track. Shortly after Jeff confirmed that Zoila's sister started working for him in October 2019, he and Zoila reunited at his daughter Monroe's third birthday party later that month.
Now we've got even more good news to share about Jeff and Zoila. After revisiting the above throwback clip from Season 4, Episode 6 of Flipping Out, which originally aired on Bravo on September 14, 2010, Andy Cohen revealed that Jeff and Zoila are still very much in touch today during the September 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "Even though Jeff and Zoila did not end the show on great terms, I'm happy to say that they have reconciled and Zoila is alive and well and has been waiting out COVID in Nicaragua," Andy said. "But she's coming back to L.A. soon."
Following her retirement, Zoila had been splitting her time between Los Angeles, where her daughter lives, and Nicaragua. When Zoila reunited with Jeff at Monroe's birthday party in L.A. last year, Jeff recalled on his SiriusXM radio show how much he had missed his friend. “I just forgot how funny she is,” he said. “I forgot why I love this woman so much. She’s too fun.”
