Jax Taylor Had a Surprising Response When Asked if He & Brittany are "Back Together"
Find out where Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright stand after *that* finale of The Valley.
Following a spicy Season 1 finale of The Valley, Bravoholics had a lot of questions about the nature of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's split and where the two stand today.
On the June 5 episode of E! News, Brittany noted that she and her estranged husband were "definitely still separated," with a few conditions (more on that later). More recently, Jax shared his take on the matter, taking to Twitter, now X, on June 5 to clear the air after a fan asked if he and Brittany were "back together."
"[W]e are working things out," Jax shared on the social media site. "What you saw was filmed months ago."

Considering how the couple is "working things out" at the moment, in the aforementioned interview with E! News, Brittany revealed exactly what that looks like.
"We said going into [our separation] that we could test the waters with other people if we wanted to, so I know that seems weird, [and] it might be crazy for a lot of people, but that's what we wanted to do," she shared.
"It's obviously hurtful to see things and have to go through this stuff so publicly," Brittany continued, seemingly referencing Jax's recent appearances with model Paige Woolen. "But at the same time, as you see in the finale, I was pushed to this decision. I would never want to do all this or have all this going on in my life if it wasn't absolutely necessary."
Brittany Cartwright reacts to The Valley finale
In the same interview with the outlet, Brittany explained how she felt justified for accusing Jax of putting on a "front" for the cameras when he said he would go to therapy "the day before" filming on The Valley resumed.
"This is what he wants everyone to see and believe, that he’s actually gonna do these things to change. I bet you money he will not do it," Brittany shared.
Brittany added: "Now a lot of time has passed yet again, and he is working on himself in different ways, but still, I knew he was not gonna go to the doctor like he said on the episode. I was right."
