Here's How Garcelle Beauvais Feels About Kyle Richards Today

Garcelle Beauvais and Kyle Richards have come a long way on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During Garcelle's inaugural season of RHOBH, she expressed that it was difficult for her to connect with Kyle. That led to some tense moments between the two of them during the season and at Season 10's virtual reunion. Garcelle also didn't seem to be the biggest fan of Kyle's during a famously shady appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in April 2020.

So, when Season 11 of RHOBH kicked off this May, Garcelle was very much in the same place with Kyle. Not only did Garcelle unfollow her on Instagram, but she also named her goldfish Kyle (and not for the most complimentary of reasons).

But they seemed to have a real breakthrough earlier this season of RHOBH when the two hashed out their issues over lunch, during which Garcelle explained why Kyle's comments about her charity donation at last season's reunion were so hurtful.

Andy Cohen asked Garcelle about the aftermath of that conversation with Kyle during her appearance on WWHL on June 30 (clip above). "Were you surprised by the way how quickly you and Kyle were able to get over everything that had happened last season? I mean, that was really grown, I thought," Andy told Garcelle. "I loved that lunch that you had. Your explanation was good. She was clearly very affected by what you said, and she got it. And then you were both able to move on."

Garcelle agreed that it was a productive meeting with Kyle. "Yeah, that was the beauty of that lunch is that the fact that she was open to receiving and hearing," Garcelle said. "And then once we got that — and I felt like she genuinely did, she didn't do it intentionally, she didn't understand the history — but I thought that's why we were able to move quickly forward because she got it. I loved it."

Garcelle previously teased that she and Kyle experienced "the biggest 180" this season compared to last during an appearance on WWHL in March. "We had a really good time this season once we went through our stuff," she said.

As for getting her friendship with Lisa Rinna back on track this season, Garcelle said during an appearance on WWHL in May that they were "still working on it." And during her latest time in the Clubhouse, she said that she wholeheartedly agreed with fellow WWHL guest and Family Karma cast member Amrit Kapai's assessment of what needs to happen for Garcelle "to trust Rinna as a friend" again. "She needs to have your back," Amrit said in the below clip. "Next time this happens to you, she needs to have your back, and she needs to prove herself that she could be your true friend."
