We Have an Update on Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard’s Friendship Status
The Summer House cast members made very public declarations to each other on Kyle’s August 4 birthday.
For years, Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke have gone together like summer and fun. However, Season 7 of Summer House saw the friends navigating a rough spot in their friendship.
So where do things stand now between the former Loverboy co-workers? Thanks to recent Instagram posts from Carl and his fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, we have an update.
Carl Radke & Lindsay Hubbard wish Kyle Cooke a happy birthday
On August 4, Kyle celebrated his 41st birthday. Though he didn’t have a naked hoedown this year — at least not that we know of — the beverage mogul did get some birthday love from his friends.
On Kyle’s big day, Lindsay shared a video of herself hanging out with him at the beach. Wishing her “Leo brother” a happy birthday in the caption, the publicist showed herself and Kyle dancing and laughing in neon swim garb. “Mad love,” Kyle wrote in the comments, adding a red heart emoji.
Carl also saluted the birthday boy on Instagram. He shared a photo of himself and Kyle both clad in olive-green outfits, white sneakers, and chunky watches. “Inadvertently matching since 2016,” Carl wrote. “Happy Birthday Mr. Summer.”
Kyle responded warmly to Carl’s birthday wish, commenting: “My brother. We always got matching drip.” Meanwhile, Kyle’s wife, Amanda Batula, hopped into the comments to write, “Dis is cute.”
In short, though they haven’t always seen eye to eye, the current status of Carl, Kyle, and Lindsay’s friendship is “mad love.” See the evidence below.
Will Kyle Cooke be in Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s wedding?
When Kyle and Amanda got married in September 2021, Carl played a major role in the wedding. He was the officiant of the ceremony and served as the best man. Now it’s Carl’s turn to be the groom. With his wedding set for November, will Kyle be standing at the altar?
Back in February, Kyle told The Daily Dish that he wanted to be involved in the big day. “I mean, look, I hope I have an opportunity to be in the wedding party and potentially [to be] a best man or co–best man or whatever,” Kyle said. “But at the end of the day, things evolve.”
After the Season 7 reunion taping, Kyle had a different perspective. During an interview with People, the Loverboy founder revealed that he had received an invitation to Carl’s bachelor party. However, he wasn’t expecting to play a significant role in Carl’s wedding.
“I told Carl I don’t expect to him to reciprocate the offer to officiate,” Kyle said. “I’m like, ‘It’s a lot of pressure.’ I feel like I’m pretty verbose. They need someone who can be concise.”
