Angie Sheds New Light on Being Kicked Out of Meredith’s Bat Mitzvah: “She Doesn’t Even Know…”

Angie Katsanevas and Meredith Marks discussed their latest blow-up during the RHOSLC After Show.

When Meredith Marks says "you can leave," she means it. Angie Katsanevas can attest to that.

During Season 5, Episode 12 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Angie got thrown out of Meredith's bat mitzvah party. And during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, the two unpacked why it went down the way it did.

"When Meredith called security to kick me out, my heart dropped," Angie said. "In front of her mother and her children, and her son who's never around? I mean, this is embarrassing."

Referencing a Season 4 event in which Meredith also tried to have her removed, Angie continued, "Like, you keep trying to put me out of all your events. You're going to recycle the material? Like, 'Oh, I'm gonna get you this time. I'm gonna invite you.'"

Angie said that she was a great guest for the majority of the party. "I knew I needed to be mindful, be thoughtful, be kind," she added. "And she kicks me out in front of everyone? She doesn't even have all the facts. She doesn't even know that Britani [Bateman] provoked me."

Meredith meanwhile, questioned why Angie made the decision to show up at a Marks family event when she "clearly doesn't have any respect" for Meredith's family.

"But you're here, that's fine. Great. Celebrate," said the jewelry designer. However, after Angie's heated confrontation with Britani that Meredith found to be "degrading," she came to a clear conclusion regarding Angie: "You gotta go."

According to Meredith, it was confusing that Angie didn't decide to leave the party on her own before security got involved.

"Why would you want to be somewhere where you're not wanted? Well, I guess she does like that because she showed up in Palm Springs," she said.

Angie's defense?

"You know what? I welcomed her into my home. I gave her wine and I made sure I told my family to include her and make her feel comfortable. And she brings me there and does that to me," she said. "It was very cruel, the way she did it, and she's just not anyone that I see myself having anything in common with."

Where do Meredith Marks and Angie Katsanevas stand now?

Toward the end of the clip, Mary Cosby asked Angie if she'll ever be able to move on and forgive Meredith.

"Forgiveness is always number one," Angie responded.
