Tamra Judge Won’t Return as a Housewife to The Real Housewives of Orange County
"It's been a wild 12 years," the longtime RHOC cast member said of her time on the show.
Tamra Judge won’t be returning as a Housewife to The Real Housewives of Orange County. The longtime cast member, who joined the show during Season 3 and has appeared on a total of 12 seasons, took to Instagram to formally announce her decision.
“It’s been a wild 12 years,” Tamra wrote alongside a photo of her and husband Eddie Judge. “But it’s time for me to move on. I’m sad to go but I’m very excited about my future.”
The Cut Fitness gym owner concluded her announcement with a message to her followers, writing, “Love you guys.”
Since joining the series in 2007, RHOC fans have watched as she navigate being a mom to four children — sons Ryan and Spencer and daughters Sidney and Sophia — whom she shares with ex-husband, Simon Barney. Tamra and Simon’s often tumultuous relationship also played out in her earlier seasons of the show, with the two ultimately divorcing in 2011. Housewives fans were introduced to her now-husband, Eddie, when the two started dating in 2006 and later watched as they tied the knot in the special, Tamra’s OC Wedding.
Tamra’s announcement comes after RHOC OG, Vicki Gunvalson, confirmed her departure from the show on Instagram.
“We have shared so many great and not so great times together and it has been the ride of our lives,” Vicki commented in response to Tamra’s Instagram post.
