American Horror Story Star Leslie Grossman Called Her Meeting with *This* Real Housewife "Very Rewarding"
Who could blame her?
American Horror Story: Cult star Leslie Grossman is a Real Housewives fan to the core. In fact, she was chatting with Ryan Murphy all about the franchise when he suggested she join the anthology series' latest season.
"Well, Ryan and I have always stayed in touch, and we would text, and a lot of times it would be about the Housewives [franchise]," Grossman told Entertainment Weekly. Besides their love for all things Real Housewives, Grossman and Murphy have a history together on the small screen. They worked together on the WB teen dramedy, Popular, which ran for two seasons back in the day. "Honestly, we were in the middle of a text conversation and he said, 'I think you should come do the next season of Horror Story.'”

That Real Housewives devotion was transferred to the Cult iteration of the show with Grossman's character being a big fan of the 'Wives, especially Sonja Morgan.
"I did not hear from Sonja, who I absolutely worship and adore and is a legend in the Housewives franchise. I do have to say last weekend I was at [AHS costar] Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham’s wedding and Lisa Rinna was there," she recalled. "She actually approached me and could not have been more lovely. I really didn’t even let her get a sentence out before shouting out, 'No! No! I love you!' That was very rewarding for me."
