Will Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard Be Friends Again? Amanda Batula Weighs In
Amanda also revealed where she stands with the former couple after Summer House Season 8.
Amanda Batula admits she would like to see Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard repair their years-long friendship. But the Summer House cast member isn’t holding her breath.
“I don’t think so,” Amanda told The Daily Dish when asked about a possible reconciliation between the former couple. “I would love to have — like, I would hope for that. But realistically, I don’t... I think there’s too much that’s gone on between them, that I don’t think they’ll be able to get back from it.”
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's Relationship History
Carl and Lindsay met in 2016 while filming the inaugural season of Summer House. The two developed an on-again, off-again relationship over the following years and eventually got engaged in August of 2022, just months after confirming their status. Carl’s romantic Hamptons proposal was featured in Summer House Season 7, Episode 13.
“I was so surprised,” Lindsay told PEOPLE magazine about her engagement. “I’m still in shock!”

The couple would spend the following year planning their destination wedding, which was set for November 2023. But just months before the big day, Lindsay confirmed that Carl had called off their engagement.
“This was not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram. “I have spent the last couple of weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not left my side, and have been picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout.”
She continued: “I am still grieving and trying to process all that has happened, but I felt it was important to update you all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and support from my friends, family, cast mates, and all of you for carrying me through.”

The doomed relationship also caused friction between the ex-couple and their Hamptons housemates, who regularly expressed concern that Carl and Linsday were moving too fast. Of course, the highly publicized breakup fueled tensions among the cast, as some of the housemates were quick to take sides. However, Amanda suggested she’s playing Switzerland at this point, as she is on good terms with both Carl and Lindsay.
“I think I’m in a good place with both of them right now,” she told The Daily Dish. “Um, yeah, just being, you know, supportive from afar. As best as I can.”
