John Janssen Gets Real About Getting Engaged to Alexis Bellino: "I Cannot Picture My Life Without Her"
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her beau of a few months have high hopes for their future.
Alexis Bellino and John Janssen are getting serious.
In case you missed it, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum became official with Shannon Storms Beador's ex-boyfriend late last year after it was rumored that they had been seeing each other in weeks prior. Since then, the couple has been pretty much inseparable.
But they are no stranger to being in serious relationships. After getting a divorce from ex-husband, Jim Bellino, in 2018, Alexis was engaged to her ex-fiancé, Andy "Drew" Bohn, before they split last year. John and Shannon had been dating since 2019, officially splitting for good in 2022.

But now that they're in a relationship with one another, they're not afraid of getting serious... fast. Read on to hear what John and Alexis had to say about their future.

The couple made their first red carpet appearance together, at DIRECTV's 2024 Oscar's viewing party, held at Spago in Beverly Hills on Sunday, March 10. While walking on the carpet, Page Six asked some questions about their relationship — like if an engagement is possible in the future.
"I cannot picture my life without her," John said.
Alexis did agree that there is more in store for them, which possibly includes her upgrading the massive Van Cleef & Arpels ring that John got her for Christmas into an engagement ring and having a wedding.

While Alexis and John are focusing on the future, there are things from the past to still be addressed — like how John's ex, Shannon, is feeling about their relationship.
Alexis admitted to Page Six that they haven't asked Shannon how she feels about their relationship, but she has taken her thoughts into consideration. "I mean, I personally care," she said. "We do care."
"Absolutely," John agreed.
"We're not here to hurt anybody, but you have to ask her about any questions that are regarding her," Alexis said.
John continued, elaborating on his thoughts about his ex-girlfriend and noting that he is currently focusing on his relationship with Alexis. "At some point, it's not about Shannon," he said.
"Of course, I don't want Shannon to hurt. I wish her nothing but the best. But I'm focused on Alexis and I."
Shannon told E! News in December 2023 that she was "confused" and "hurt" by their relationship. "I don't know how to process it," she said.

Alexis and John have definitely been setting their sights on the present, enjoying each other's company and all of the little moments in their relationship, as seen in posts on Instagram.
After posting a series of dreamy photos of him and Alexis on a boat to his Instagram feed on Feb. 25, John had some choice words to say about his girlfriend. "We love each other...but most importantly we laugh...A LOT," he wrote in the caption of the post. "Thank you to our kids for capturing these moments."
