Marysol Is "Shocked" by Alexia and Todd Nepola's Divorce: "I Didn't See This Coming"
The RHOM cast member was "completely taken by surprise" when she heard the news.
Alexia Nepola said she was "shocked and heartbroken" when her husband, Todd Nepola, filed for divorce on April 15, but she's now getting support from her Real Housewives of Miami castmates — including bestie Marysol Patton.
Marysol Patton Was "Shocked" By Alexia and Todd Nepola's Divorce
During an episode of Ay Por Favor, the podcast Marysol regularly co-hosts with Alexia, Marysol shared her raw reaction to Todd's divorce filing.
"As you may or may not know, the news just broke that Alexia's Alexia's husband, Todd, has filed for divorce," Marysol said on the April 15 episode. "We're all a little shocked, and, so, you know, it's not a good day for her to be here and participate. What can I say? I'm completely taken by surprise. I mean, I didn't see this coming."
Marysol went on to say that she's hurting for her close friend.

"It rips my heart apart because I just, I can only put myself in her shoes. I know how hard this must be for her," she continued.
However, Marysol knows that Alexia can handle any difficult situation. She added, "If anyone knows that Alexia will see better times ahead, it's me. If there's anything I know about Alexia, she's strong and she's a fighter. She's resilient. She's been through a lot. She always comes out on the other end shining."
Alexia Nepola Reacts to Todd Nepola's Divorce Filing
Like Marysol, Alexia herself was also surprised to learn that the businessman had filed for divorce.
"I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage," Alexia wrote in an Instagram Story she shared on April 15, after the divorce news went public. "I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time. I'm praying for better times ahead."
