Alex McCord Takes Us Inside Her Ultra-Glam Date Night with Simon van Kempen (PHOTOS)
The Real Housewives of New York City alum looked fab on a night out with her husband of more than 20 years.
Alex McCord and husband, Simon van Kempen, are stronger than ever.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, who appeared on the first four seasons of the show, was known for her eclectic sense of style and loving relationship with her husband. Both of those things are still true to this day, but the couple has since traded in their Brooklyn townhome for the shores of Australia after moving to the land down under in 2014.
Alex took to her Instagram feed on Tuesday, June 25, where she gave her followers a look inside of their latest date night together. In typical Alex and Simon fashion, it was a super chic night to remember.

The mom of two posted a number of photos to her Instagram carousel, showing off her fabulous date night outfit — comprised of a breezy red dress, elbow-length black leather gloves, and heeled black boots — while standing outside of the Sydney Opera House. In another photo, Alex can be seen cozied up to Simon, who looks super chic himself wearing a black tuxedo and red pocket square to coordinate with his wife's outfit.
"A night out at the opera with Simon van Kempen," Alex wrote in the caption of the post. "Wearing red for the blood of Tosca's enemies with maybe a twirl or two."
Alex also posted two other photos that she took inside of the opera. Leave it to Alex and Simon to have their date night out, without their two sons, at the ultra-glamorous opera.

Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen celebrate a big milestone in their relationship
This date night comes on the heels of Alex and Simon celebrating a big milestone together — their 24th wedding anniversary. Simon took to Instagram on May 28, where he wrote the sweetest message to his wife in the caption of the post.
"No photoshop, no filters, just 24 years of blissful marriage to the absolute love of my life, Alex McCord," Simon wrote. "On this day in 2000 at Maxims on Madison Avenue we promised 'til death do us part and I reckon we've got another 24 and hopefully 26+ years of bliss together!"
