You Won’t Believe What Ariana, Scheana, Katie & Lala Have in Common with Sutton & Garcelle
The Vanderpump Rules BFFs and the RHOBH besties, as well as the casts of their Bravo shows, are all up for major awards.
Get ready to celebrate! The nominees for the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards were announced on Tuesday, April 5, and it just so happens that Bravo is feeling the love.
According to Deadline, Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are up for Best Docu-Reality Series along with Jersey Shore Family Vacation, The Kardashians, and Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition.
Bravo was also feeling the love in the Best Reality On-Screen Team category, with Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, and Lala Kent up for award, along with Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke.
Each set of pals is up against Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, and Pauly D (Jersey Shore Family Vacation); Tori Deal and Devin Walker (The Challenge: Ride or Dies); and RuPaul Charles and Michelle Visage (RuPaul’s Drag Race).
As it turns out, Scheana recently posted an Instagram with Ariana in which she called her castmate her “ride or die,” so we guess their BFF status, along with their Vanderpump Rules besties, has officially been recognized, especially as the group rallies around Ariana after her recent breakup. Plus, we’ve long followed the friendship between Sutton and Garcelle, who never miss a chance to give us updates.
For the record, Garcelle expressed her excitement about sharing the nod with her friend, writing, "I think this just leveled up our friendship. Thanks for this, [MTV]!! You can vote for me, Sutton, and the rest of our RHOBH family," to which Sutton responded, "Wow!!! Double whammy!!!!"
Sutton added in a separate Instagram, "Can’t imagine a better friend to share this experience with."
Peacock was also feeling the love with The Traitors (whose cast happens to feature a handful of Bravolebs). It is up for Best Competition Series against All-Star Shore, Big Brother, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars, and The Challenge: USA.
The winners of the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be announced on Sunday, May 7, with Drew Barrymore set to host the show.
