This Is How Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Spent Their Would-Be Wedding Night
The Summer House couple had planned to marry this September, but adjusted their plans due to COVID-19.
To keep their loved ones safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke made the decision to postpone their September wedding in New York City. The Summer House couple have been engaged since Kyle popped the question during the Season 3 finale, and are no strangers to having to keep their plans flexible, after the original wedding venue they chose fell through.
In a September 19 Instagram post, Kyle shared a glimpse at how he and his gorgeous bride-to-be spent what would have been their special night. From the looks of it, the happy couple still managed to have an incredible night.
“Last night we were supposed to get married, but instead went on our first date in NYC since the lockdown” Kyle wrote in a caption alongside a photo of him and Amanda sitting outdoors at a restaurant called Crown Shy, located in Manhattan’s Financial District. “Crazy times in a crazy world makes me appreciate what we have more than ever. I love you @amandabatula.”
Summer House alum Stephen McGee commented on the post to share his certainty that when Kyle and Amanda are finally able to get married, it’ll be an amazing party. “The wedding will be worth the wait!” he wrote.
Although the night was the couple’s first date in New York City since early spring, it seems like these two were able to get in plenty of swoon-worthy moments together throughout the summer. Next to a photo of them kissing in front of a sunset, Amanda wrote, “I love you more than chicken nuggets and a good red wine.”
We can't wait to see their big day!
