Andy Cohen Reveals the Reason Shep Rose and Brynn Whitfield’s Romance “Didn’t Happen”

Heading in to BravoCon 2023, Bravoholics had their eyes on Shep Rose and Brynn Whitfield.
While appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in September 2023, Brynn shared that she was interested in getting to know the Southern Charm-er. She called the South Carolina native "cute," and she said, “It takes one commitment-phobe to know another commitment-phobe, right?"
Though some fans were rooting for the two to take their connection to the next level in Las Vegas, The Real Housewives of New York City star said on a panel that the two were going to be "good friends" after meeting in-person for the first time.
Now, Andy Cohen is sharing some insight into what exactly went down. Read on for details.
What happened between Shep Rose and Brynn Whitfield at BravoCon?
During a recent episode of his Sirius XM radio series, Andy Cohen Live, Andy shared a few of his highlights from the weekend. He confirmed that nothing happened between Brynn and Shep after they grabbed a drink together on the second night of BravoCon.
“Brynn I think had her eye on Shep and I don’t think that wound up [happening]..." Andy explained, noting that Shep was like a "Golden Retriever" with the New Yorker.
"I think she was like, 'This is not, this is not gonna happen...'" the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recalled. "So that didn’t happen."
Brynn Whitfield and Shep Rose's BravoCon 2023 Meet-Up
Prior to BravoCon, Shep and Brynn exchanged some Instagram DMs, and they planned to spend some time together during the weekend.
They went out for drinks together, and Brynn "went home" afterwards, while Shep went out.
Afterwards, at a panel on November 5, Shep said, "I met Brynn yesterday. I like her. I like her! She's cool."
Andy teased that Shep was smitten with Brynn during the "It's Ladies Night" panel.
“He came over to me before The Bravos,” he said. “He was, like, ‘I am stunned by Brynn. She’s so beautiful. She's so tall.' He goes, ‘She's really smart… she's a star.’”
However, the timing wasn't right for the pair, as Brynn did friendzone the Charm-er. Shep sounded off on his friendship with Brynn on the final day of the weekend.
"At [WWHL] last night, Andy was like, 'Brynn, are you still feeling it?' and she was like 'eh,'" Shep said.
