Taylor Ann Green Explains If She’s Working Again: “I Didn’t Quit My Job”
Plus, find out where she stands with Shep Rose after the Southern Charm reunion.
During Southern Charm Season 8, fans saw Taylor Ann Green quit her job to travel the world with her then-boyfriend, Shep Rose. When their relationship ultimately didn’t go the distance, however, she was seemingly left without a boyfriend — or a job.
During BravoCon 2022’s Southern Charmers panel on Sunday, October 16, however, Taylor revealed that she is “working again,” though not at the same job. Explaining that she’s now working in sales and marketing for a new company, she added that she still has “love” for her former job, boss, and coworkers and that she’d just run into them “the other day.”
After fellow cast member Austen Kroll noted that “the important thing is that Taylor’s working again,” Shep Rose clarified that “he never wanted her not to” work. “I wanted to travel, I’m sorry,” he said.
Meanwhile, Olivia Flowers also explained that Taylor already “wanted to quit before [Shep] suggested it,” prompting Taylor to give her own explanation.
“I didn’t quit my job,” Taylor interjected. “I took a hiatus and then I came back. And I was like, I need a more lenient job that, ya know… So, the sales and marketing [job] is perfect.”
Shep’s mea culpa for wanting to travel with his now-ex wasn’t the only one delivered on the BravoCon stage. After taking her ex to task at the Southern Charm Season 8 reunion for how quickly he moved on post-breakup, she apologized for coming in so hot.
“Honestly, after watching back the reunion, I just really need to get back to, like, my roots and who I am and the person I know who I am,” Taylor offered. “So, yeah, again, Shep, I apologize for jumping down your throat.”
A possible reason for her change of heart? “There’s a lot of love for the person that’s sitting there today,” she added, referencing Shep. “I recognize the person sitting there today [more] than I did at the reunion.”
Shep, for his part, responded, “She never, ever has to apologize to me, and I have her back and love her for eternity.”
