This Is Where the Cast of Southern Charm New Orleans Went to College
With Season 2 coming, study up on where Jeff Charleston, Jon Moody, Justin Reese, Reagan Charleston, Tamica Lee, and Barry Smith earned their degrees.
Life in the Big Easy isn't all Sazeracs and Mardi Gras parades. The cast of Southern Charm New Orleans — which comes back for Season 2 on June 2 at 9/8 c — had to study hard to get where they are today. Curious where Jeff Charleston, Jon Moody, Justin Reese, Reagan Charleston, Tamica Lee, and Barry Smith went to college? Keep scrolling to find out where the Charmers got their degrees in everything from dance to visual effects and law.
Jeff Charleston
A native to Oregon, Jeff played football at Idaho State University. That practice served him well: He went on to serve as a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints, and earned a Super Bowl title during his pro-football career.
Jon Moody
The artist and athlete got his B.F.A. in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014. He also got his M.A. in painting from the same school. You could say he put his degrees to good use: Jon's paintings have hung in the White House and in the private collections of celebs like Lil Wayne and Trey Songz.
Justin Reese
Now a civil litigation personal injury attorney, Justin's got degrees. He majored in psychology as an undergrad at Morehouse College. (Side note: That's the same college Karen Huger's son attended!) In 2008, he got a J.D. from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans. And later, he got an L.L.M. in trial advocacy from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University.
Reagan Charleston
According to her LinkedIn profile, Reagan graduated from Louisiana State University in 2009. Then, she earned her J.D. at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2018. In addition to being a legal eagle, the New Orleans native also has a fashion-savvy streak: She makes her own jewelry and accessories, and has a shop at the ritzy Canal Place.
Tamica Lee
A former dancer for the Saintsations (they're the cheerleaders for the New Orleans Saints), Tamica majored in communications and dance at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Barry Smith
As a personal trainer, Tamica's husband could dole out degrees in squats and bench presses. He's also the owner and director of Fuel Center of Fitness.
