Sean "Diddy" Combs Breaks His Silence on Death of Ex Kim Porter: "I'll Raise Our Family"
The hip-hop artist is grieving the sudden loss of his friend and ex-girlfriend, with whom he shares three children.
Sean "Diddy" Combs is heartbroken over the sudden loss of his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. The model and actress, 47, was found dead in her Los Angeles home on November 15. Porter's cause of death is still unknown, though it's been reported that she had been suffering from the flu or pneumonia for weeks. Porter and Combs share three children together. And though their romantic relationship ended in 2007, the two remained close.
In an Instagram post from November 18, Combs broke his silence following Porter's death. To caption a video of her pregnancy photo shoot, he wrote: "For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S---!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love."
The hip-hop mogul also posted a series of photos of his friend, with captions that expressed love and disbelief. To caption a photo of himself with Porter, their three shared children, and Porter's oldest son, he wrote: "I’ll raise our family just like you taught me to. Love you forever!!!"
Combs also shared a series of photos of Kim on his Instagram Stories, including framed images from what looked to be a memorial service.
