Gilda Kirkpatrick
Gilda Kirkpatrick is known around Auckland as much for being the queen of the social scene as she is for her feisty temperament. Once dubbed the “Princess of Paritai”, Iranian-born Gilda was previously married to Auckland property magnate and richlister James Kirkpatrick. Now divorced, Gilda resides in Paritai Drive’s well-known ‘wedding cake’ house and is a doting mother to her two young boys: Lucan (two-and-a-half years) and Kyan (seven months). Gilda has a bachelor degree in architecture and works as a creative and designer at Rascals - an advertising agency. Last year she made her debut as a children’s book author with The Astarons: Cosmic Guardians, a fun, educational series of sci-fi comic-style books.
