Nene Leakes Sets the Record Straight About the State of Her Marriage to Gregg Leakes

While Nene Leakes and Gregg Leakes have been feeling tension in their marriage this season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as they deal with his cancer diagnosis, Nene is making one thing clear: Any gossip about them separating is nothing more than "fake news."

Nene headed to Instagram to shut down the chatter once and for all (even after conversations she's had on the show with her inner circle about tensions in her marriage, clip above) and shed some more light on the turmoil they have faced since he was diagnosed with cancer last year.

"Oh Lawd! They say we separated now: #fakenews. I appreciate you tho Gregg for accepting and understanding that being a caretaker is something I’ve never done and have truly done the best I know how all while making tons of mistakes along the way," she shared on Instagram. "You never asked to get sick and we were both thrown into these new positions over [night]." 

She added on Twitter, "Oh pleaseeeeee! Gregg Leakes and I are VERY much together!"

In the midst of offering an update on their marriage, Nene also revealed on Instagram how Gregg is doing in his health journey: "But whew chile you have kicked cancer's ass! I can’t wait for [you] to share with the world your exciting news in a couple of weeks #fam4life #nomatterwhathappens #wearetheleakes."
