Quad Is Being Manipulated -- But Not By Me
Mariah is disappointed by Quad airing their issues in front of a crowd -- and her inability to see who is really pulling the strings.
There is a time and place for everything, and a woman's empowerment conference is a place for women to learn, love, grow and encourage each other -- not tear one another down.
Just like STK, Quad always waits until she is in a crowded room to address our issues. I don't think that is that the appropriate way for two former sister-friends to address their issues. I'm baffled why Simone brought the topic up, it's a very sensitive topic. Simone says that Quad wants to sit down and talk, but that's not the feeling I get.

At the conference and at STK, it felt like Quad wanted to fuss and fight not talk through anything. I've been there and done that, and that's not the route I plan on taking ever again in life. As a mother, wife, and entrepreneur I have way too much to lose. The "high" road is a much more sensible road. I refuse to get off my "chariot" for anyone. It's just not worth it. When you know better, you do better.
Last year you saw a hurt Mariah that was disappointed by a friend. I responded the wrong way and had to deal with the consequences of my actions. As a result, I decided never to react out of emotion again.
I really thought Quad and I were friends, and I am truly saddened by the lies, accusations, and direction our friendship has taken. I sincerely hope and pray that at some point she realizes she is being manipulated, but I'm not the one pulling her strings.
