On the heels of her family’s Christmas celebrationsThe Real Housewives of Orange County mom looked back on the past 12 months and revealed the lessons she learned along the way. Gina posted a video montage of her most memorable moments of 2024, many of which were with her longtime boyfriend, Travis Mullen, and their respective kids.

Gina shares her biggest highlights of 2024

“Things I Have Learned This Year,” she wrote in the December 26 Reel. “Everything happens for a reason. Life is for living. Consistency will make you win. Time heals. Thank you 2024!!! ”

The video featured Gina’s real estate promo, her magical girls' trip to Bali, and a funny moment with her bestie/castmate Emily Simpson. Gina, of course, included plenty of sweet family events, like concerts, date nights, and dining experiences.

“2024 was truly a transformative year for me,” she captioned the post. “Going into 2025 with more direction, passion and drive than I’ve ever had before. Who’s coming with me?”

Gina addresses her sobriety journey with before-and-after photos

Days after sharing her year-in-review, Gina returned to Instagram to reflect on her sobriety journey. The mother of three posted a series of photos divided into two parts: “before [she] quit drinking” and “after [she] quit drinking.” Gina posted the transformation in the hopes of inspiring others who were considering a sober lifestyle.

“January marks three 3 years for me not drinking,” she wrote in the December 29 post. “People are always asking what I did to look so good. I don’t talk about it much but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Here’s something for anyone who’s ‘sober curious.’ 2025 seems like a great time to effect positive change."

“If you’re thinking about it…do it,” she captioned the Reel. “[It’s amazing] on this side.”

Gina explains why she gave up drinking

Gina has been quite open about her sobriety and the effects it’s had on her life. The OC mom previously revealed she stopped drinking during lockdowns after noticing "red flags" with her consumption

“I was drinking way too much,” she told People magazine in 2023. “What used to be a drink when I was out at night with friends became, especially during COVID, me pouring a drink every night without even thinking about it. And I don’t identify as an alcoholic, I don’t believe I have that disease. But I felt the scales starting to tip, and I didn’t like that feeling. I was numbing myself with it. I was self-medicating, and I couldn’t stop. It was more in control of me than I was of it.”
