Jeff Lewis Is Up to His Signature Airport Tricks Again — See the Mischievous Pic
Jeff Lewis can't help but prank travelers for the love of Instagram.
Flipping Out fans, you're probably well-versed in Jeff Lewis' airport hobby of choice. The frequent traveler is known for taking sneaky snaps alongside his fellow (sleeping) passengers, which — let's be real here — are usually worthy of a good, low-brow laugh. And though he went on a bit of a pranking hiatus in recent months, Jeff re-entered the game with a single Instagram post on Sunday, March 25.
Featuring a fresh-faced Jeff wearing a soft blue button-down shirt with a grey sweater overtop and posing next to a snoozing passenger, the snap oozes nostalgia. It doesn't even need a caption, because none of Jeff's airport 'grams ever really do! We don't even know what airport this is, but those are just details, you guys.
In 2017, Jeff told Adweek the origin story of his favorite airport pastime. "[At the airport] you’re always sitting and waiting, there’s always mechanical problems, there’s always delays, and I’m just sitting there in absolute boredom," he said before describing the initial joke that started it all.
"I thought it was funny that somebody was just sleeping and drooling with their mouth open, and I asked [partner] Gage [Edward] to take a picture of me, which he wouldn’t do, and I had to force him and actually physically berate him until he would do it, and now it’s become a fun hobby for us."
We're glad to see Jeff is continuing his antics in 2018! Now, who will be his next pranking victim (sorry, Instagram star)?
