Dorinda Medley Thanks Fans After She Opens Up About Her Struggles Following Bethenny Frankel's Drinking Comments
The Real Housewives of New York City friend kept it real this week and fans have been showing her love.
When it came time to open up about some of her personal issues, Dorinda Medley certainly kept it real. During this week's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Dorinda confided in Bethenny Frankel about how hard things have gotten for her and how much she misses her late husband, Richard Medley (clip above). The conversation also turned to Dorinda's drinking, which had gotten her into some hot water earlier in the episode, when Bethenny told her: "The way that you sometimes treat me is worse than Ramona [Singer]. I just cut you slack because you're a drunk."
Now, Dorinda is thanking fans for their support in the wake of the emotional reveal. She wrote on Twitter, "Thank you everyone for all your super kind messages! Difficult times come and go, just keep it moving!"
In an interview with ET back in April, Dorinda called Bethenny's comments "hurtful," "mean," and "unnecessary." Bethenny then discussed that moment during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show last week, sharing, "Dorinda on the way to Puerto Rico was a drunk. So, if it quacks like a duck, it's a duck."
However, Bethenny did make it clear that she is on Dorinda's side this week on Twitter, writing, "I only want the best for Dorinda."
