Connie Britton Showcased Her "Thick Curly Hair in a New Way" at the Critics' Choice Awards
The Dirty John actress was positively aglow on the red carpet at the high-profile event.
Fresh off her head-turning walk down the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, Connie Britton made a big impression with her style at another major awards show.
On January 13, the Dirty John actress hit the Critics' Choice Awards, where she was nominated for her work in the Bravo limited series. The event took place on the same night that the shocking Dirty John finale aired. (Catch the full episode here, if you haven't seen it yet.) And though the episode was incredibly dark and chilling, its lead actress looked sunny and glowing in a sparkling gown and a beauty look that let her flawless, dewy skin and natural hair texture shine through.
On her way to the awards show, Britton gave her Instagram followers a peek at her hair and makeup. Creighton Bowman of Dove Hair worked with the actress for the night, and issued a statement after the awards show about his inspiration.
"To contrast the ultra-glam style of her green dress, we wanted to bring out another side of Connie and showcase her thick curly hair in a new way on the carpet," Bowman said. Take a sneak peek at the results:
As for that glam gown Britton's stylist mentioned, she wore a custom, sparkling dress in a pale shade of green that channeled springtime. The dress was by Galvan London:
