Could the Real Housewives of New Jersey possibly be responsible for an Oscar? You freakin' bet!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and the Bravo app.

American Hustle star and America's sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence recently revealed to MTV that she may have picked up her Jersey accent for the film from none other than the Garden State 'Wives.

"I can't tell where [the accent] came from because I know that I just started speaking in it and I know that I've been watching a lot of reality TV shows. And a lot of those reality TV shows have a lot of New Jersey women," she says. "So I can't say it's not from them."

Lawrence's film, in which she plays the showy wife of a brilliant conman (Christian Bale), has garnered a lot of award buzz, most recently winning the New York Film Critics Circle prize for Best Picture and netting Lawrence an award for Best Supporting Actress.

With all the drama that constantly surrounds RHONJ, we think it's about time Tinseltown took notice!
