Inside Lisa Vanderpump's Sexy Halloween
The Vanderpump Rules star named Queen of the Carnaval—see pics.
Forget spooky—it was glamour that ruled for Lisa Vanderpump during her crowning at West Hollywood's annual Carnaval event on Halloween. The Vanderpump Rules star opted for real Queen of the Night look (makes sense since she was named Queen of that night): complete with a red gown paired with a lacy, red mask.
"It's just such a vibrant city West Hollywood, and I'm so proud of it tonight because everyone really makes an effort and it is so progressive," she told reporters at the event, which not only included some crafty costumes (including ebola, natch), but also some very stormy weather.
Despite the rain, revelers still managed to turn up to celebrate the spookiest day of the year. It's reported that upwards of 500,000 hit the streets of L.A. for the annual party, which this year paid homage to Medusa.
Mayor John D'Amico, who attended as Mayor Antoinette, shared, "The community's commitment to letting people be who they are, it is really what West Hollywood is all about,"
Lisa was joined at the event by her husband, Ken Todd, and daughter, Pandora, the latter of which was dressed as a Day of the Dead zombie. "An unbelievable night..#crowned #keytothecity," she wrote on Twitter. "I bow down to all of you who made such an incredible effort tonight, costumes were amazing xx."
She added, "Wow it was amazing last night, the rain was a nightmare thanks to you all who came to support us,incredible costumes!"
Being named the parade's queen really is quite the honor. Previous Queens include Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Ricki Lake, Chelsea Handler and American Idol alum Frenchie Davis.
A mother daughter moment... not that you'd recognize either of us! #HappyHalloween
