Apollo Nida Thanks Fans for Support
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star will begin his prison sentence next week.
Next week marks a tough new chapter in Apollo Nida's life. Phaedra Parks' husband will be beginning his 8-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to multiple counts of fraud.
Despite the tough road ahead, the father of two is keeping up a positive front. Today he tweeted an upbeat message writing, "THANKS 4 ALL THE SUPPORT & KIND WORDS. WE MUST LEARN TO HAVE A LIGHT HEART."
Support for the family has come from all corners, even the unlikeliest ones. Kim Zolciak, who was often known to clash with Phaedra during her time on RHOA, sent her love to their kids. And Kenya Moore—who had a long-standing feud with the couple over whether she did or did not send Apollo flirty texts—tweeted "I have to wish [Phaedra] well."
Phaedra herself has been keeping mum about the ordeal, but pal Kandi recently revealed that the lawyer/mortician has been throwing herself into her work. "She's not really trying to focus as much on what's happening," Kandi explained.
When convicted earlier this year, Apollo expressed regret and remorse for the actions that led him there. "It was a dumb situation I put myself in," he said. "It's my fault at the end of the day. I got sucked in and engulfed and lost sight of things."
