First and foremost, I apologize for my tardiness in my delayed response to the blog. I am new this year and new to the blog system, but now on board and willing to answer any questions that one might have. To start out, let me say what an honor it has been to be apart of Sky Sport! The people I have met and continue to meet on a daily basis is the real high for me. To have a job where you aid someone in transforming themselves physically which leads to a parallel transformation in their confidence, aura, and general being in both a physical state as well as a mental perception fulfills me in ways that words cannot describe. Working with someone to bring out the best in them is such a positive motivation that not only bleeds through them, but also into all that surrounds them as everyone is inspired and grows in strength. It truly is an honor for me and I have learned so much from so many people, with hopes that I have been able to give back to fellow co-workers and clients in the same manner. Everyone on the show started as strangers and now I am blessed to call them friends and family!

On to some of the questions and comments I have heard, starting with Jackie's clothing line! The first time I ever saw the clothing line was when the cameras were rolling. Some say I was harsh and should have talked to Jackie off-line, including Jackie, but I come from a society based on integrity and honor being in the military, where honesty is the best solution. There are many aspects to Jackie's line that I love, and only one aspect that I disagreed with .... I am a believer that working out is about working out, not what you look like ... your uniforms should be functional-based, not vanity-based. Jackie said I should have gone to her off-line, but my understanding is that "her trainers are her family!" If I am not in a safe place to bring up a suggestion about the line with her family then when is a good time? If Jackie didn't want my honest opinion expressed to all, then she should have introduced the line to me one on one. I feel in a safe environment as "one's family" it is better to have honest feedback on all levels. My feedback on one aspect (having a chick on guys' clothing) might have hurt her feelings, but isn't that better to have hurt one's feeling before the line is launched than to launch something no one will buy which will not only hurt her feelings but also her investment! Every guy I know would not wear sweats with a chick doing a press and clean down your thigh, and I think my friends represent a pretty accurate snapshot of America's purchasing customers. HGTV's Design to Sell: Yes -- I am the carpenter on the show and look back on my time with the show with the deepest, heartfelt memories and cherish all the people and my time with that organization. Carpentry has always been a hobby of mine and I have bought a few homes and remodeled then myself before selling them. I find great enjoyment in remodeling homes and also woodworking and making furniture. Call it "sawdust therapy," time when I can be by myself, have a vision of what I want and over time I create a vision into a reality. It is a surreal experience that I love! Being part of Design to Sell allowed me to learn even more about carpentry and the timing was amazing as I bought another home in LA back in June that I have been remodeling over the past eight months. Having professional experts who know everything and having them come to my home and spending the day helping me with projects not only made for an amazing home, but amazing memories and friendships that will forever be a part of me.

I currently just finished building a backgammon table for my mother ... Mother's Day present! My family is the most sacred thing I have on this earth and for my mom and I to sit down for hours to play backgammon brings a peace to me that I wouldn't trade for anything. I cannot wait to see her back east for Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day, Mom. If you are reading this, I love you forever and always!

I think this blog is getting long-winded, so I will end it for now, but promise to be up and running with comments from here on out. Thank you so much for your support. Honestly, the show is all about trying to entertain the viewers. If not for you, the show wouldn't exist. Hope you enjoy it and learn from it, whether that be learning what not to do or what to do, we try and keep it entertaining.
