Celebration

Zen reflects on an emotional second season.

As the emotional roller coaster of Season 2 comes to an end, I realize that the first thing I feel is... grateful. I'm grateful for the time I spent with Doug and that so many people will remember his beauty, love and kindness. I'm grateful to be involved in the SkyLab project where I saw a wonderful transformation of spirit in a few brave souls. They were courageous enough to get in a dunk tank on camera (Seriously, would you do that?!), show the world their fears and weaknesses all the while fighting for a healthier and happier life. I'm proud of Carol for losing 25 pounds in just a few short weeks. She came in second to Lori in pounds lost! Great work, Carol!!! I'm grateful that I get to work with such wonderful people on a daily basis. I've got some GREAT friends at SkySport and I continue to admire and be inspired by Jackie. She's a brilliant businesswoman and she's just so ...COOL. I'll never be that cool. And that's ok. I love my happy, gung-ho, geeky, hair-changing, 80's dancing self. I'm grateful that Jesse's best friend, Jasmine, is healthy ... and looking HOT in her JUNK pants! to get your own JUNK, my new clothing line.)

I'm grateful to Bravo for filming my set at the Laugh Factory. And I'm grateful that the Laugh Factory liked me enough to ask me back! I'm grateful for all my wonderful clients that have gracefully endured a hectic shooting schedule. And I'm grateful for all my new clients! Nothing makes me happier than to excite and motivate someone to achieve a more active and healthy lifestyle. I'm grateful for my family and friends who have always loved me unconditionally, even when I embarrass them on national television.

Most of all, I'm grateful to all the viewers. I have received so many emails, letters, flowers, music and even artwork from fans of Work Out. I am touched by the kind gestures and moved by the weight-loss stories I've read. I'm honored that so many people have written me for advice and I will do my best to answer each and every one of you. I guess I'm pretty darn grateful to myspace, too! Thank you, God, for this wonderful life.

Health & Happiness,
Zen
