Dolly Parton has been married to the same man, Carl Thomas Dean, since 1966. And that's quite a feat considering how celebrity marriages can sometimes end. And despite that 50-year-plus marriage and Dolly's status as a country music and Hollywood icon, her longtime love isn't someone who enjoys living his life in the spotlight. He's a bit more of a mystery than his firecracker wife, but their love remains strong all these years later. In fact, the couple renewed their wedding vows back in 2016 to celebrate 50 years of wedded bliss. "If I had it to do all over, I'd do it all over again, and we did," she said in a statement at the time. "I'm dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck."
And because he lives a more low-key life than his superstar love, Andy Cohen needed to know a little more about him from Dolly's 9 to 5 co-stars and fellow legends, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. They spilled some interesting tea about Carl while in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on Thursday where they were promoting the new season of Grace and Frankie.
