Andy Cohen Has a Prediction About His Son Ben’s Future Career
“My son is a genius,” the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host shared.
Andy Cohen’s son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, may have found his calling. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recently shared an Instagram Story that showed his son at play. And based on what he saw, Andy determined that his 4-year-old is showing a great deal of promise in a certain form of art.
Andy’s post showed a stunning Magna-Tiles creation that his son had whipped up at home. The intricate structure even had a place to dock boats and park cars. While filming the setup, Andy took the time to interview its maker.
“What is this, Ben?” he asked. “Is that an airport? And it looks like there’s a place for boats too.” In the background, Ben’s adorable voice could be heard saying, “This is the boat home. That is the helicopter home.” Andy replied, “Wow, this is really good! I think you’re gonna be an architect, Ben.” Things got even cuter when Ben told his dad, “You can help me finish it right now… I’ll bring over the Magna-Tiles.”
In his caption, Andy wrote, “[No big deal], my son is a genius.” Between the colors, the heliport, and even the photo of Andy and his kiddo tucked into the structure, it is indeed a genius creation.
Speaking of architecture, you can check out the New York City apartment where Andy lives with Ben and daughter Lucy in the clip above. And in a recent interview, Andy opened up about his future real estate plans.
On a December 2022 episode of iHeartMedia’s Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast, Bozzi asked Andy, “What are the next two chapters for you?”
In addition to parenting Ben and Lucy, Andy revealed that his current focus is “figuring out [his] real estate.”
“I’m finishing this beach house,” he said. “I’m working on a new apartment in the city.”
In August 2022, the New York Post reported that Andy had purchased a duplex penthouse in the West Village. Although Andy didn’t spill much more tea on the apartment in the podcast episode, he did dish on purchasing a beach house after nearly 30 years of renting the same vacation home in the Hamptons.
“I stayed in that beach house for 28 years, and I loved it so much,” he told Bozzi. “It was a sweet little love shack. I always said the only thing that would get me to leave this house would be if I was ever lucky enough to have a house on the ocean. And I actually never envisioned myself able to afford that. That was not in my realm… I just came from the walk-through at my new beach house, which will be done, god knows when. Maybe the end of the year.”
And maybe someday Ben will build the family a vacation home!
