Gina Gershon says she’s never regretted turning down a role in Prince’s Purple Rain and thinks she made the right decision because the script wasn’t for her, she hadn’t done a sex scene before and she’d never even done a movie before. She also says she loved her night with Prince in Minneapolis to discuss the part. She talks about how they spent time singing, dancing and getting to know one another. She even slept in his bed, but not with him.
