Actress and singer Megan Hilty explains what the Death Becomes Her musical is about and says there’s an epic moment in the original movie where the character Helen Sharp pushes her character Madeline Ashton down the stairs, which is shown in comedic snippets. She says that the push was reimagined for the Broadway production and it takes an entire minute and a half for Madeline to make it down the stairs in the campy stunt.
