Tom Schwartz Shows Off His New Platinum Blond Hair Color (PHOTO)
The Vanderpump Rules cast member recently sported his eye-popping new ’do on a fun night out.
In May 2020, Tom Schwartz opted to try something new: a bold red hair color.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member took to his Instagram Stories at the time to share the details of the edgy makeover. After teasing the change-up with a snap of a plastic bottle filled with red-looking hair dye, Tom went on to give a full look at the deep auburn color with hints of burgundy — a major switch from his usual chestnut brown locks.
Perhaps Tom decided to ditch the red later that year after another at-home dye job went awry. “Tom dyed his hair orange-ish,” Tom’s then-wife, Katie Maloney, shared in a December 2020 Instagram Story, showing the TomTom partner’s mishap.
“It was an accident,” he muttered, showing how he applied the color unevenly and got a little on his eyebrow to boot.
While Tom hasn’t had any notable hair changes since then, he was recently spotted sporting a brand new ’do — his brightest look yet.
Tom Schwartz’s New Blonde Hair
On August 15, Tom and a group of friends that included Katie, Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, and Lala Kent gathered at SUR for a special fundraiser for the Maui wildfires.
While James Kennedy was living his best DJ life at the event, his longtime pal Logan Noh shared a video from the night, giving us a full look at Tom and his striking new platinum blond hair in the process.

Tom Schwartz’s Tattoos
Speaking of Tom making major changes, we couldn’t help but recall the Schwartz & Sandy’s partner’s past, which involved getting not one but two butt tattoos.
During Season 4 Episode 9 of Vanderpump Rules, on a boys’ trip to Las Vegas, Tom got a “Bubba” tattoo on his right butt cheek as a dedication to his then-girlfriend Katie.
“Katie was cool for letting me go on the Vegas trip… in return, I felt like I had to do something to show my commitment to her,” Tom shared in a confessional on the episode, revealing why he opted to get the term of endearment between the then-couple on his backside. “What can I do that will last a little longer than flowers?”
What’s more, Tom also got Lisa Vanderpump’s initials, “LVP” on his other butt cheek after losing a bet with the restaurateur over a game of Ping-Pong.
“I’ve never not followed through on a bet in my life, and I feel like I don’t want to start now,” he said on Season 9 Episode 10 at the tattoo parlor. “It’s good to feel the pain so I learn my lesson.”
