Here’s What James Kennedy Thinks About People Saying Ally Lewber Looks Like His Mom
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared his thoughts on the comparisons between his girlfriend and his mother.
True: James Kennedy’s mom, Jacqueline Georgiou, and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, both have long brown hair and maybe a few similar facial features. But do they really look alike, as some Vanderpump Rules fans and cast members have claimed?
During an April 26 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, James was prompted to answer that question when host Andy Cohen asked on behalf of a viewer.
“Um… not really, [they] don’t really look alike, but obviously my mom’s beautiful and I love her,” James responded, sweetly gesturing toward his mom, who was in the audience that evening.
Andy then asked Jacqueline what she thought of her son’s girlfriend, whom he has been dating since January 2022.
“I love Ally,” she promptly and simply responded, smiling confidently.
Though she may be getting comparisons to James’ mom, Ally has proved to have a style all her own since joining Vanderpump Rules this season.
For the crew’s epic (from what we’ve heard) Season 10 reunion, the brunette beauty stunned in a hot pink mesh-sleeved satin corset minidress by Miss Circle ($169), pairing the style with clear mules and luscious waves.
In addition to her fashion looks, Ally channels her distinct sense of style into her surroundings. In the video above, James and his astrologer girlfriend divulged the design details of their first home together, noting how “the most magical trip” to Tulum inspired the aesthetic of their bedroom.
“We went to Tulum this year and were absolutely obsessed with the vibe,” James explains in the clip as he and Ally show their bedroom, which is decorated with wood furniture, “lots of plants,” and a primarily beige, brown, and white color scheme.
While many beautiful things can be seen in the room, the DJ took a moment to point out one of the more luxurious items he seemed to be proud of.
“Restoration Hardware blanket,” he said, touching the blanket on the bed. “Very plush, very comfortable, very expensive,” he said. The room also has a spacious walk-in closet, which Ally calls her “favorite place in the whole apartment.”
James announced he had moved into the apartment in an April 2022 Instagram Story that showed a peek at the kitchen. On the February 8 Season 10 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, he confirmed that he and Ally were residing in the Los Angeles home together when Lisa Vanderpump asked, “Are you living with her?” and he replied, “Yes. I’m not, like, blasting it to the world, but yes.”
