Ariana Madix Reveals That She Hopes Something About Her Will Open “Sometime Soon"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member is looking forward to hopefully opening the sandwich shop by 2024.
Ariana Madix has a lot on her plate right now — and is about to add some sandwiches to that plate, too.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been busy throughout 2023 on the heels of her breakup from Tom Sandoval, between juggling her dancing gig, making a guest appearance on Love Island Games, and falling for her new boyfriend, Daniel Wai. But 2024 is about to get a lot busier for Ariana, thanks in part to Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiering in January, and her sandwich shop with Katie Maloney, Something About Her, opening in the future.
So the shop won't be opening in 2023, but hungry fans can anticipate the West Hollywood sandwich store to open in 2024, Ariana said in an interview with BravoTV.com, because the restaurant is pretty much ready.
"I mean, we still are in red tape limbo essentially," Ariana told BravoTV.com.
But rest assured, she hopes that Something About Her will be open "sometime soon."

Ariana told BravoTV.com that they are waiting on the next round of inspections, and as soon as they "get the go-ahead" they will open.
"We have an incredible menu," she said. "Amazing staff. Very excited people ready to go. So we're just kind of waiting on that thumbs up, that stamp of approval."
Ariana would have been happier if the shop opened six months ago, but, she told BravoTV.com that things "didn't happen as planned." The business partners had planned on opening the shop in the summer of 2023, but of course, there were delays.

During their appearance at BravoCon 2023 in November, Ariana and Katie confirmed that there were "a lot of hoops" that they had to jump through, which were causing these delays. "We had to get a new water heater for the building," Ariana said.
"That's the update, some final things have popped up in the eleventh hour," Katie added.

While the Something About Her menu has not yet been released, Ariana told BravoTV.com that it is "incredible."
In different menu previews throughout the past year, Ariana and Katie have revealed that there will be an egg salad sandwich, a sandwich that "involves lots of hot peppers and anything salty, pickled," and enough bread to send anyone into a "carb coma."
